Why Connect With Us?
Raising Bilinguals is leading the way in shifting the narrative for deaf and hard of hearing kids around the world. Founder Clare Best, an experienced Teacher of the Deaf and mother to a Deaf child, takes pride in her innate ability to bring people together and form real connections with families and educators alike.
Whether you're looking for corporate or small scale professional development training that leaves a lasting impact on those within your organisation, seeking a keynote speech that inspires or have something more bespoke in mind - we're here to support in anyway we can!
Tailored Partnerships
Clare and the Raising Bilinguals team recognise that every partner has unique objectives and an 'ideal outcome' they wish to achieve - which is why we don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions!
Our approach is always flexible and innovative, with the aim of building long-lasting partnerships to bring about real change for the deaf and hard of hearing cohort.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Clare Best is an absolute powerhouse - with her educational background coupled with a complete 'parent' understanding she provides clear, strong and tangible advice for those of us trying to navigate support and tools for our children. It was such a privilege to have Clare join us at the Auckland Parents of Deaf Children AGM and hold a follow up workshop for parents and educators in New Zealand. We've had overwhelming feedback about the events and heard stories of parents advocating more strongly for their children's rights [due to Clare’s guiding advice]. We can't wait for the next one!"
Shanie Duhau ~ Parent of a deaf and hard of hearing child
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Our village just completed 2 split training sessions with Clare and I couldn't recommend it enough. It has opened so many eyes amongst our village and hopefully encouraged them to want to do more for our little guy. You know when people ask you questions about your DHH child and their devices or what they can access or what life is like for them, but you can't quite find the right words to really give the impact you are after. Well just handball that over to Clare. She is amazing at what she does and has all of the knowledge and terminology that you are searching for. 10/10 highly recommend!
At Raising Bilinguals, we understand that the needs of deaf and hard of hearing children are often misunderstood and overlooked.
We're dedicated to partnering with aligned organisations who aim to change this and raise awareness to create the best possible foundation for our deaf kids. Your goals are our priority, and we're committed to making them a reality!
Let's Collaborate
Your goals for supporting deaf and hard of hearing children matter to us. By sharing your objectives, we can craft a partnership that delivers meaningful results. And together - create a more inclusive and supportive environment for deaf kids and their families.
Parent & Carer Workshops
Interactive & empowering workshops tailored exclusively for those raising deaf and hard of hearing children.
Whether the topic is advocacy, navigating intervention, making informed decisions or building a bilingual rich home (or all of the above!). Clare aims to empower and build confidence in parents / carers so they can take control of the journey with their child.
Public Speaking Events
Clare's story is unique. As a Teacher of the Deaf for 15 years, she did not predict that one day she would raise her own deaf child.
From this rare vantage point, Clare combines her personal story and professional expertise to inspire audiences and shift the narrative for deaf and hard of hearing kids.
Her core goal is to motivate, educate and inspire change while delving into the challenges, triumphs, and ultimately the power that true inclusion can create in changing the trajectory for these incredible little people!
