Mother and Daughter Communicating

What if the support you’ve been searching for actually existed?

You're passionate about giving your deaf or hard of hearing child a rich bilingual life... But that passion doesn’t always come with a how-to manual.

Most days, it can feel like we're carrying the "what ifs" all on our own. We want to do right by our child, but the mental load of researching, second-guessing and advocating is heavy.

Enter the RB CLUB. An online lifeline & community designed to help you move from pushing through the fog to becoming the parent and expert you know you can be.

I am here to help you move from questioning every decision and living in a state of constant overwhelm...

To a parent who is calm, confident

and equipped.

A parent who leads their child’s bilingual journey with a clear strategy, a supportive village and zero panic spirals (because #beenthere)

I only have one goal: To empower parents - all over the globe - to take control of the bilingual journey!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nicole - parent of a 2 yr old Deaf child.

"I'm so glad I upgraded VIP. I find watching the tutorials and how to implement the strategies so much more valuable than reading about how to do them. The masterminds are my absolute favourite part of the VIP because I didn't think Clare's workshops could get any better BUT the capped numbers make these small and intimate workshops feel like a very safe space to learn and ask questions!"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sarah - parent of a 5 yr old Deaf child

"Knowing that I am the specialist on my child and the most invested in his outcomes, helped me to show up to those advocacy meetings and be the authority in the room. Clare has really shifted my approach and helped me be more confident in those spaces!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rose - parent of a 4 yr old Deaf child

"From Clare I’ve learned the importance of building strong networks within the community. It’s reaffirmed how vital it is to connect with others who understand our experiences! It's it’s given me new strategies to help my son thrive in a world that doesn’t always cater to him."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lauren - parent of a 4 yr old Deaf child

"I love the RB club. When I’m having hard days with the journey, I jump on the app and instantly feel relief and calm. I have found it so helpful and it is just so rare to find a hub of like minded parents along this journey. It really is my safe space that focuses and grounds me"

If you're like most parents I've helped, you might feel like…

👉🏼 You’re doing all the things - but still feel like it's not "enough"

👉🏼 You want to give them rich language, but don't know what that actually looks like day to day

👉🏼 You’re drowning in info, but missing an actual step by step strategy that moves the needle

👉🏼 Advocacy makes you break out in hives and you can never see a world where you own that meeting room

👉🏼 You have joined all the forums, but still feel isolated and alone on the journey

But here's the thing - you’re not failing.

You’re just navigating a world that wasn’t built with your child in mind....
But what if there was a place that was?

The RB CLUB is designed to provide you with...

Confidence, clarity and the reassurance you need to kick goals for your child

Never-seen video tutorials with instant strategies to try

A like minded village who share the same bilingual philosophy

Clear, practical resources & guidance tailored to the journey

clare.jpeg

After 14 years teaching deaf kids and working closely with families, I thought I knew what to expect when I had my own deaf child.

I was wrong.

What I saw firsthand—as a parent—shook me. The guidance I thought would be there? Biased. Outdated. Or totally missing. The support families desperately needed? Scattered, confusing, and often loaded with pressure to choose “one right way.”

It was infuriating.

So, I combined everything I knew as a bilingual Teacher of the Deaf with the raw, real-life experience of raising my own deaf child—and created THE RB CLUB.

A space I wish had existed when I was just starting out.

Now, I help parents just like you cut through the noise, build real confidence, and create a bilingual home that works—without shame, second-guessing, or needing a PhD to figure it all out.

Because families like ours deserve better.

And this community is how we make that happen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is THE RB CLUB suitable for parents of deaf children past the early years?

A: Absolutely! Whether your child is a baby, toddler, in school or somewhere in between, THE RB CLUB offers support, resources, and community for each stage of the journey!

Q: I don't live in Australia. Is the RB CLUB still relevant for me?

A: 100%. The aim of RB CLUB is to build a growing, global community of like-minded parents passionate about the bilingual journey. We have families from the UK, the USA, Canada and even Russia! There is nothing Auslan specific and you can adapt resources to suit your needs and circumstances!

Q: I’m not fluent in a signed language —can I still join?

A: Yes! THE RB CLUB does not teach or require any level of sign to be involved! It's designed to meet you where you are and provide resources around HOW to use signed languages to support our deaf kids. All levels are welcome!

Q: How is this different to the Facebook and community forums I'm already a part of?

Here's the thing with the RB CLUB. It's not just a forum (yes it has community threads, but this is just one tiny element of this special space) - it's a family. We know each other's stories, we know each other's concerns and challenges and also biggest wins! RB CLUB is your own personal cheer squad in your pocket and a place for you to find all the support and resources you need.

Q: What happens after I sign up?

A: You’ll get immediate access to our RB CLUB community, an email welcome pack, as well as all past meetup recordings, Q&As threads and every resource ever released in our Resource Hub! (For VIPs you'll also get instant access to our expert and parent interviews and exclusive tutorials + forums as well!)

So, why a club for hearing parents?

The RB CLUB was created by me - a hearing parent -for hearing parents raising deaf and hard of hearing children. And because of that, this particular space is exclusively for that community. I have to acknowledge my limitations when serving and supporting Deaf parents, given I do not share their lived experience or believe I have the skillset to provide the kind of guidance that would truly honour and reflect the Deaf raising Deaf experience.

Deaf parents bring a depth of wisdom and perspective that deserves its own dedicated space, led by someone within the Deaf community. My hope is that one day we’ll have a branch of RB CLUB specifically for Deaf parents, built by Deaf parents, for Deaf parents - and when that happens, you will be the first to know!

A quick note...

To ensure the integrity of our community and provide deep, consistent support families deserve, please note the RB CLUB is an annual membership commitment.

This ensures our community remains a stable, dedicated space where we can focus on long-term growth and advocacy for your child - together.

Why a 1 year commitment?

Building a bilingual village and strengthening your advocacy muscles isn't an overnight task. By committing to a year, you are ensuring:

✔️ Consistency for your child: A full year of tailored resources and Teacher of the Deaf support.

✔️ Community Integrity: You are surrounded by a stable group of parents walking the same path—no "revolving door" memberships.

✔️ Sustainability: It allows me to focus 100% on your support and content, rather than admin and invoicing.

Raising a deaf or hard of hearing child is a pretty unique thing - and unless you're in it (like reallly in it!) - it's hard to describe the challenges and moments only those of us walking it know.

And the truth is: We were never meant to walk them alone.
