TAILORED TRAINING & WORKSHOPSÂ
FORÂ SCHOOLS AND CHILDCARE CENTRES.
Â
Empowering educators with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to ensure your deaf and hard of hearing child thrives.
Â
Every deaf child is unique. Their educational environment should be, too.Â
Â
This cannot be a one-size-fits-all approach.
The deaf and hard of hearing cohort is so incredibly diverse and the reality is - generic, template trainings just don't work!Â
Educators and teachers need practical, tangible and aligned strategies that confidently equip them with supporting YOUR deaf child and THEIR unique needs.
Â
Let's break it down below.

I have trained 200+ educators over the past few years - and here's what I know...
Â
Most do not have the fundamental knowledge or understanding of deafness to build an accessible learning environment for our kids.
Â
Generally there is:
❌ No clear action plan—Teachers feel unsure about what strategies actually work and how to apply them daily.
❌ Acoustically overhwelming classrooms—Contributing to auditory fatigue and making it even harder for your deaf child to follow along and fully engage in their program.Â
❌ Uncertainty around hearing devices— And ongoing worries around handing devices, how to put them on your child, what their limitations are and how to use remote microphone technology effectively!
❌ Lack of confidence in inclusion strategies—Educators often want to help but don't know where to start when it comes to 'deaf friendly' systems and program and curriculum adjustments
❌ Minimal communication around how your child is 'actually' doing—There's a common theme of 'they had a great day' or 'they're doing fine' - which isn't productive for families wanting the best for their deaf child.
❌ A mountain of barriers our deaf kids are meeting every day —Auditory fatigue, communication frustration, lack of inclusion in social scenarios, ongoing isolation and missed opportunities to connect and understand the program being delivered to them (just to name a few!)
And it's time to change that.Â

How the Training Works.
Â
Â
Step 1: Parent Clarity SessionÂ
✅ Before the training, I will meet with you - the parent / carer - for a 1 hour online consult to fully understand your child’s specific needs, challenges, and strengths. This ensures the training is customised and relevant to their unique situation and circumstances.
Â
Step 2: Development of Training
✅ I take everything gathered from the parent clarity session and develop a training program tailored specifically to your child to ensure we can achieve the vision and outcomes you have.
This includes:
✔ Building customised resources aligned with your child's profile
✔ Creating a follow-up resource package based on your school’s setup and your child's individual needs
✔ Developing a practical toolkit for teachers to implement immediately
Â
Step 3: Live Training (1.5 – 2 Hours)
In this interactive session, we’ll dive into:
✔ Communication strategies that support both spoken and signed language development
âś” Language tips & tricks to boost accessibility in everyday learning
âś” Acoustic considerations for optimal learning environments
âś” Common myths & misconceptions about deafness (and what actually works)
âś” Understanding hearing devices (and their limitations in real-world settings)
âś” Program delivery & curriculum adjustments to maximise student success
✔ Auditory fatigue & behavioural considerations—what’s misunderstood and how to address it
✔ Technology, captioning, and assistive supports—making learning accessible
âś” And much more!
Â
💡 This is NOT a one-size-fits-all training. It’s tailored to your child, your team, and your classroom.
