DOORS OPEN JUNE 2026.

Mother and Daughter Communicating

You're a hearing parent of a deaf or hard of hearing child and you feel like you're doing everything possible.

So why does it still feel so hard?

Let me guess...

✔️ You've made the choice to raise your child bilingually and you know how deeply it matters - but you feel like most people in your circle still don't get it?

✔️ You've done the research, you've followed the accounts, you've gone to the appointments, you've seen the gains in your little one - but you're still having to prove the weight of your voice and justify your choices over and over?

✔️ You can see the advocacy mountain ahead and know the outcome you want for your child long-term - but actually making it happen and having the hard conversations feels too heavy to carry?

That my friend, ends here.

Because believe it or not, I've felt all of the above (and more!) many times on my own parent journey... and it wasn't until I hit complete physical & mental burnout that I decided to do something about it.

Like you, I craved a space where I could show up without the mask, without the justifications, without the fear of being criticised or judged and just connect with others who not only 'got it' and shared my philosophy, but who could become my home away from home.

So a year ago I started The RB Club.

The only community of its kind designed uniquely for the hearing-parent-raising-a-bilingual-deaf-kid path. The Club is a real, thriving, connected online village filled with aligned parents walking the same path - who not only share your 'bilingual' philosophy & values - but your inner fire and desire to shift the narrative for your child. Parents who will catch you when you need it, celebrate you when you get a win and sit with you in the hard moments without an ounce of judgment

This is not just another Facebook group or a public forum where you need to post anonymously to protect yourself. And this definitely is notanother webinar where you're talked at and leave with more questions than answers.

The RB Club is the tribe you've been craving. You don't have to explain yourself here. You just get to show up whenever and however you like.

Phoebe (Mum of a Deaf child)
"Being in the RB Club has helped me stay centred in our goals. I have interactions where professionals say things like 'oh she won't need that' or 'but is she talking?'  and the Club brings me back to what actually matters. Connecting with other parents who are genuinely pro-bilingual has had a really big impact on our family this year."

Lauren (Mum of a Deaf child)
"When I'm having hard days with the journey, I jump on the app and instantly feel relief and calm. It is just so rare to find a hub of like minded parents. It really is my safe space."

The next intake opens June 2nd.

My story. And why I built this.

After 14 years teaching deaf and hard of hearing children and working closely with families, I thought I knew what to expect when I had my own deaf child.

Oooof was I was wrong.

I soon realised that knowing the professional side of this journey and actually living the parent side are two very different things.

The constant fog, the conflicting advice, the pressure to make decisions, the deeply emotional internal storms, the moments where you sit across from a specialist who speaks with such conviction that you slowly feel your confidence drain out of you...

I hadn't truly understood any of that until it was my own child - my heart - at the centre of all of it.

What I saw firsthand as a parent genuinely shook me. I still remember holding my 5 week old Deaf baby while a senior speech therapist told me without a trace of emotion that "Auslan was a waste of time" and that with devices he would "assimilate fully into a hearing world" and he wouldn't need the Deaf Community.

I was filled with such a blend of rage and disbelief I couldn't even respond.

The informed guidance I expected? Saturated in bias and hidden agendas and ego. The support families desperately needed? Scattered, confusing and often loaded with pressure to choose "one right way."...

It was so infuriating, but also lit a fire in me that has never and will never go out.

Because I just kept thinking... if this is my experience with years of expertise behind me - what is happening to every other parent walking into those rooms alone? Without the background. Without the knowledge. Without the right information. And even worse? How many of them have been on the receiving end of this same person's comments and taken them as truth?

And it was in this moment that I realised how broken the system was and that I needed to do something about it. So I combined everything I knew as a bilingual Teacher of the Deaf with the raw, real lived experience of raising my own Deaf child bilingually — and I created the RB Club.

Now I have the privilege of empowering and supporting countless parents around the world to cut through the noise, take control of the journey and finally step into their role as expert of their own deaf child. The transformations I have seen in the Club community are nothing short of amazing and my dream of building a collective parent 'army' of fiery advocates is slowly coming true! #JokingButNotReally

Bottom line: families like ours deserve better. Our children deserve better.

And this community is how we make that happen.

Sarah (Mum of a 6 year old Deaf child)

"Knowing that I am the specialist on my child and the most invested in his outcomes helped me to show up and be the authority in the room. Clare has really shifted my approach and helped me be more confident in those spaces."

If you're like most parents I've helped, you might feel like…

👉🏼 You're learning the language, researching, showing up to every appointment and you still lie awake wondering if you're doing enough

👉🏼 You want to give your child a rich bilingual life, but have no idea what that actually looks like or if you're doing it "right"

👉🏼 You're drowning in information from every direction but nobody has given you an actual clear strategy that moves the needle for YOUR child

👉🏼 Advocacy makes your stomach drop. You know what outcome you want for your child but walking into that meeting room and owning it feels like a completely different universe

👉🏼 You've joined the Facebook groups and the forums but you still feel completely alone — because nobody in those spaces truly shares your philosophy or your values

But here's the truth.

You are not failing your child. You are navigating a system that was never built with your child in mind.

And you have been doing it alone for long enough.

What's inside THE RB CLUB?

Imagine this for a moment...

It's been a shocker of a week - maybe a meeting didn't go the way you wanted or you're spiralling about your choices again - and within minutes of logging in you read a post from a parent who was where you are 6 months ago - and it's instantly validating while also giving you hope for what could be. You then notice a LIVE community call is happening so you jump online (or maybe you want to hermit so you watch a recording of a past one instead) and you witness a parent pouring their heart out about exactly what you've been feeling all week. And suddenly every parent in that call is right there with them, listening and nodding in solidarity often without ever saying a word. You feel the breath escape you as your shoulders relax and you realise you're not alone in this. You start to feel empowered about the next step so cruise over to the Resource Hub where you come across the perfect checklist or filmed tutorial to get you back on track....

That's what happens in here. Every single month.

The RB Club is built around one thing — giving you the space, knowledge, community and collective lived experience so that you can see what's possible and then go out there and make it happen for your kid.

Here's how we do that...

So, why a club for hearing parents?

The RB CLUB was created by me - a hearing parent -for hearing parents raising deaf and hard of hearing children. And because of that, this particular space is exclusively for that community. I have to acknowledge my limitations when serving and supporting Deaf parents, given I do not share their lived experience or believe I have the skillset to provide the kind of guidance that would truly honour and reflect the Deaf raising Deaf experience.

Deaf parents bring a depth of wisdom and perspective that deserves its own dedicated space, led by someone within the Deaf community. My hope is that one day we’ll have a branch of RB CLUB specifically for Deaf parents, built by Deaf parents, for Deaf parents - and when that happens, you will be the first to know!

A note on commitment...

The RB Club is an annual membership & investment. And I want to be transparent with you about why...

The shift and the moving-the-needle changes I've been talking about... they don't happen overnight. They happen over time after slowly learning, connecting, absorbing other people's stories & wins as well as subtly realising what's truly possible for your child.

A month in the club gives you a taste.

A year will transform you.

A year also means the community stays stable, connected and we can grow together collectively. You're not walking into a revolving door of strangers, you're building genuine, potentially lifelong relationships with parents who are on the exact same path, at the exact same time - together.

That's where the real magic happens.

And that's worth protecting.

✨ DOORS OPEN JUNE 2ND✨

This investment is NDIS eligible (typically under Capacity Building)

Payment plans available to provide flexibility for plan & self-managed families.

Waitlist members get first access AND an exclusive early bird offer not available to the public.

Questions? I've got you.

Q: Is THE RB CLUB suitable for parents of deaf children past the early years?

Absolutely. Whether your child is a newborn, a toddler, or already in school, the RB Club meets you where you are. The advocacy piece actually becomes even more critical once they hit the school system, so if anything — the older your child, the more you need this.

Q: I don't live in Australia. Is the RB CLUB still relevant for me?

100%. We have families from the UK, USA, Canada and beyond. The bilingual philosophy, the advocacy strategies, the community — none of it is Auslan specific. You adapt what you need to your own signed language and your own system. The village is global and that's exactly the point.

Q: I’m not fluent in a signed language —can I still join?

Yes. The RB Club doesn't require any level of sign at all. It's designed to meet you wherever you're starting from and give you the tools, strategies and confidence to build from there. All levels welcome, no judgment, ever.

Q: How is this different to the Facebook and community forums I'm already a part of?

This comes up a lot and I get it — because there ARE a lot of groups out there. Here's the difference. In the RB Club everyone shares the same bilingual philosophy. You will never have to justify your choices or defend your approach here. There's no anonymous posting because nobody needs to hide — this is a private, safe, judgment free space where everyone genuinely gets it. Add to that the live masterminds, the 1:1 access to a Teacher of the Deaf, the resource hub, the advocacy programs — this is not a forum. It's a whole ecosystem built specifically for your journey.

Q: I'm an NDIS participant. Can I use my funding?

Yes — the RB Club is NDIS eligible, typically under Capacity Building. Because NDIS funding structures vary so much right now, payment plans are available and honestly recommended for most NDIS clients. This gives you flexibility whether you're on block funding or a drip fed plan. Just reach out and we'll figure out what works for your situation.

Q: What happens after I join the waitlist?

You'll be the first to know when doors open June 2nd. Waitlist members get exclusive early bird pricing not available anywhere else — but only for the first 48 hours. After that it goes to the public at full price. So being on the list matters.
